Our state-of-the-art Live Scan machines and software securely transmits an applicant’s fingerprints to the appropriate government agency, which conducts a criminal history background check using the Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). Applicants seeking fingerprinting services must obtain instructions and the necessary forms, such as the Request for Live Scan Service Form, from the agency requiring their criminal history background check. In most cases, we should be able to provide the necessary forms, but it is recommended to confirm ahead of time.
